Anurag Srivastava
Professor Anurag K. Srivastava received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, in 2005. He has been an Assistant Professor at Washington State University since August 2010. He worked as an Assistant Research Professor at Mississippi State University from 2005 to 2010. Before that, he worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, as a Senior Research Associate in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, and as a Research Fellow at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. His research interests include power system operation and control using smart grid data and engineering education. Dr. Srivastava is a senior member of the IEEE and a member of the IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES). He is past-chair of the IEEE PES career promotion subcommittee, chair of IEEE PES student activities, and an active member of several other PES technical committees. Dr. Srivastava is the recipient of numerous awards, including an IEEE best paper award, and is the author of more than 100 technical publications, including a book. He also serves as associate editor of the IEEE transactions on smart grid.
