The power grid infrastructure relies on a large-scale heterogeneous system that provides critical services on a continuous basis. Research in this cluster seeks to provide techniques for analyzing and measuring power grid resiliency to malicious attacks, accidental errors, and potential volatility of energy sources. It builds methods and tools that support the design and testing of various devices, architectures, protocols, algorithms, and applications used to ensure power grid reliability and security.
