Hao Zhu
Dr. Hao Zhu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of ECE at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests lie in leveraging statistical signal processing and inference tools to power and energy systems. Her current research efforts include distribution system monitoring and operations, power system load analytics, and geomagnetic disturbance risk mitigation. Dr. Zhu received her B.S. degree in 2006 at Tsinghua University, and her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. Before joining the faculty of ECE, Dr. Zhu was a postdoctoral research associate with the Information Trust Institute at the University of Illinois.
